Salary: £16 per hour, incl. holiday (GDST Grade 2).

This is a part time, zero hours position, working during school term times only.

Responsibilities

  • We are seeking to recruit Examinations Invigilators to join our existing team of experienced staff.
  • Invigilators are responsible for conducting examination sessions in the presence of the candidates and have a key role to play in upholding the integrity and security of the exams and assessment process.
  • Work will be available throughout the year for internal mock examinations, retakes and University Admissions testing.
  • The key requirement for availability will be predominately in the months of May and June for the external exam season.
  • Successful invigilators will need to be available from 8:00am to facilitate the set-up of morning exams.
  • For afternoon exams, invigilators will need to be available at 1:00pm to set up.
  • On some occasions, the exam can extend to 5pm.
  • Flexibility is essential, as these timings are subject to change depending on the examination.

Qualifications

  • Experience is desirable but training will be provided and is a mandatory element of the role.
  • Strong IT skills are essential.
