Position Learning Assistant – Grade 3

Employer: Northampton High School, Northamptonshire

Contract Details: Fixed term, part‑time, subject to external funding. Start date: 1 September 2026. Closing date: 26 June 2026 (applications may be considered ahead of the deadline).

Salary: £17,133.99 (actual) – £27,171.00 FTE.

Role Overview: To succeed in this role, you will have a passion for supporting individual pupils and want to champion learning and development at every opportunity while celebrating individual success. You will be able to form good relationships with pupils and bring energy to every task with a patient and positive outlook.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans, ensuring their needs are met through tailored teaching assistance.
  • Collaborate with teachers, the Learning Enhancement Coordinator and other professionals to deliver inclusive learning experiences.
