The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

We have a vacancy for an experienced and inspirational visiting Brass Teacher. You will teach across a broad age range (5 - 18 years), with the expertise to encourage participation and bring out the best in students at any stage of their musical development.

  • Provide half an hour lessons on a 1:1 basis and direct a popular ensemble.
  • Perform at concerts and various other musical events.
  • Enter students for instrumental exams and provide parental feedback on an ongoing basis.
  • Brass lessons are gaining popularity; currently requires a half-day of teaching with expected increase.
  • Work with a positive and engaging approach; significant performance experience preferred.
  • A diploma or degree in performance would be desirable but is not essential.

Terms:

  • Contract term: Self-employed
  • Hours: Flexible
  • Self-employed peripatetic position with an annual fee of £5 for the rental of a practice room.
  • You will set your own fees; payments are made directly to you from the parent/guardian.
