Minibus Driver for our daily service from Kenton/Fenham area

Working hours: Approximately 16 hours per week – split shift. Approx. 7.00 a.m. – 8.45 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. – 5.15 p.m. term time only (176 days per year). Ad hoc additional hours may also be available from time to time.

Responsibilities

  • Drive one of our modern fleet of school minibuses to deliver the school’s daily morning and afternoon transport services from Kenton.
  • Work closely with the chaperone allocated to the daily service to provide a courteous, friendly service for pupils and parents.
  • Transport support for trips, sports fixtures and high‑profile school events such as open days, fairs and parents’ evenings may be required from time to time.
  • Drive any of the school’s minibuses as required under the direction of the School Transport Manager.

Qualifications

  • Category D or D1 (without restrictions) driving licence preferred, but not essential for the 9‑seater minibus service.
  • Experience with child safeguarding and ability to undergo relevant checks.
  • Desirable: experience operating school minibuses.
