Location: Newcastle High School for Girls, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear

Contract and Salary: Permanent contract, casual hours. £13.94 per hour.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday evenings 18:00 – 21:00. Additional hours may be required on Saturdays and Sundays 08:00 – 18:30 and during school holidays 08:00 – 21:00. Evening and weekend hours could be later for one-off events.

Responsibilities:

  • Take a front-of-house role, meeting, greeting and supervising lettings customers on weekday evenings.
  • Maintain safety and respectful use of premises and equipment.
  • Reset and secure premises at the end of each day.
  • Carry out ad-hoc facilities maintenance, porterage and furniture/equipment re-setting and other commercial and operational tasks as needed.
  • Work as part of a small team under direction of the Enterprises Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in customer service or a front-of-house role.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly during evenings, weekends and school holidays.
  • Fluency in English.
