South Hampstead High School is looking for an exceptional classroom practitioner with Qualified Teacher Status to join our dedicated and enthusiastic teaching team in the Junior School.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver challenging, well‑organised and stimulating lessons.
• Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet pupils’ academic needs and expectations.
• Work with colleagues to create a positive culture of pupil welfare and behaviour and play an active role in pastoral matters.
• Plan and deliver the National Curriculum and provide appropriate pace and enrichment for students.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status with proven track record, or a skilled graduate with a passion for teaching.
• Demonstrated good practical ICT skills.
• Ability to work closely with colleagues.

Contract

Fixed‑term contract, one year, with the potential to become permanent.
