This role will involve delivering inspiring, creative and engaging Art & Design lessons to young learners at South Hampstead Junior School. The department is recognised for its high standards and outstanding pupil achievement. You will contribute to the department’s success across a wide range of artistic disciplines, including drawing, painting, textiles, felt making, silk painting, printing (lino and dry point etching), ceramics, woodwork, graphic design and pottery.
The ideal candidate will be able to inspire bright, motivated girls, encouraging pupils to develop confidence, imagination and strong visual literacy skills. Experience as an Art & Design teacher in a primary or junior school setting is required, and you should hold Qualified Teacher Status.
