Responsibilities

• Lead the Art department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
• Teach Art to KS3–KS5 students, inspiring curiosity and independent exploration.
• Contribute to whole‑school policy making and strategic planning.
• Shape the vision and direction of Art across the school.
• Develop and expand public exhibitions, showcasing students’ work.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with experience across KS3 to KS5.
• Previous management role (e.g., Deputy Head of Department) essential.
• Excellent professional and subject knowledge, including contemporary art practice.
• Enthusiastic, inspiring, and able to enthuse students.
