The role
Wimbledon High School is seeking an innovative and forward‑thinking teacher to take on the role of Digital Literacy Lead. This unique cross‑phase position combines teaching, curriculum design, staff development and academic leadership across both the Junior and Senior Schools. The successful candidate will shape and deliver a coherent vision for digital literacy and emerging technologies, ensuring that students develop technical skills, digital fluency, critical awareness, creativity and judgement necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
Working across the school, the Digital Literacy Lead will oversee the development of a progressive digital literacy curriculum, teach Computing in the Upper Junior and Senior Schools, and contribute to the school’s innovative Playful Scholarship Portfolio. From artificial intelligence and robotics to online culture, digital citizenship and media literacy, the candidate will help students engage thoughtfully and critically with modern technology. The role also involves supporting colleagues in effectively using technology to enhance teaching and learning, building confidence and expertise across the school community. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher passionate about educational technology, curious about tech change, and eager to shape the future of learning at Wimbledon High School.
About You

Experience leading or contributing to enrichment opportunities such as coding clubs, robotics programmes, digital leadership initiatives or technology‑focused projects would be advantageous.
