The role
Royal High School Bath, GDST is a vibrant, forward‑thinking day and boarding school for girls aged 9–18 – a place where every girl is known, valued and empowered to thrive. We are looking for a creative, organised and proactive Marketing & Admissions Officer to join our busy team and help us share the energy, ambition and warmth of our community.
This is a hands‑on, in‑house creative role where you will take the lead in the production of high‑quality design materials that celebrate school life, support recruitment, and strengthen engagement with families, alumnae and the wider community. From open days and high‑profile events to digital campaigns, corridor displays and social media assets, you will play a central part in shaping how our story is told.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing and the Admissions team, you will help deliver targeted campaigns, support recruitment events, manage collateral, and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for prospective families. You will also use data and insight to inform activity, evaluate impact and help us continually refine how we communicate.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative environment, enjoys variety, and is excited by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to how families experience Royal High Bath.
About You
You will bring strong design skills, excellent communication abilities and a keen eye for detail. You’ll be confident using digital tools — ideally including Adobe Creative Suite and Canva — and able to produce engaging content across formats such as newsletters, brochures, social media, video and photography.
You will be organised, collaborative and comfortable managing multiple projects at once. With a proactive mindset and a can‑do attitude, you’ll enjoy contributing ideas, solving problems and working closely with colleagues across the school.
Experience in marketing, communications or admissions is essential, and experience within an education setting would be an advantage. Above all, you will be an enthusiastic ambassador for girls’ education and the values of the GDST.

As part of our Marketing and Admissions team, you will play a vital role in sharing that ethos with families locally, nationally and internationally.
