GDS Partners are recruiting an EHS Advisor on behalf of a leading Specialist Contractor for a permanent position covering Greater London and the South of England.

About the Client

Our client is a leading Specialist Contractor delivering high-quality façade and external envelope projects across the UK. With a strong reputation for quality and safety, they offer excellent long-term career opportunities.

About the Role

  • Hybrid role covering Greater London & the South
  • Regular site visits per month plus regular visits to the Southern Head Office
  • £60,000 - £65,000 + Comprehensive Package (DOE)
  • Company Vehicle or Car Allowance
  • Permanent position with genuine career progression

Main Duties

  • Carry out site inspections, audits, and compliance checks across multiple projects.
  • Review RAMS and ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
  • Support Project and Site Managers with day-to-day EHS matters.
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
  • Produce reports and promote continuous improvement across all sites.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH Construction or NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Previous Health & Safety experience within construction.
  • Experience with a Specialist Contractor, Subcontractor, or Principal Contractor is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.
