GDS Partners are recruiting a Graduate EHS Advisor on behalf of a well-established Civil Engineering & Earthworks Contractor for a permanent position based in London.
About the client:
Our client is a well-established contractor operating across the civil engineering, earthworks and construction sectors. They have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects throughout the Greater London area and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance.
About the role:
- London-based role.
- Work closely with an experienced EHS Manager.
- Excellent opportunity for a graduate or junior EHS professional looking to develop their career.
- Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 + package.
- Permanent position with structured training and career progression.
Main duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Assist with regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
- Support the preparation, review and maintenance of SHEQ documentation, including RAMS and site safety plans.
- Help ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Assist with incident and accident investigations, identifying root causes and supporting corrective actions.
- Monitor EHS performance and assist with internal reporting.
- Provide ongoing EHS support and guidance to project and site teams.
- Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks.
- Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement across all projects.
