The Role
We're looking for a talented UI/UX & Brand Designer with a keen eye for clean, user-centred design, supported with strong branding skills. You will translate high-level requirements into intuitive interfaces and compelling brand visuals that engage users across multiple platforms and touchpoints. You will work in a small, supportive team to create exciting and compelling work to tight deadlines and high-quality standards. You will be comfortable managing projects self-sufficiently while working in partnership with our internal team and stakeholders to fulfil the brief. You will be committed to helping GDS improve our suite of products by putting users at the centre of everything we do, while also ensuring our brand is visually impactful, memorable and consistently represented.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and update wireframes and website interfaces
- Support product development with UI/UX design
- Create and maintain brand assets, including logos, icons, and marketing collateral
- Ensure brand consistency across digital and print materials
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality design solutions
About You
- Strong UI skills and solid understanding of UX principles
- Proven experience in branding and graphic design, including brand guidelines
- Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency across all digital products
- Proficient in Adobe Suite (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Have a solid understanding front-end development is a plus (coding not required)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- 4+ years' experience in agency or in-house design roles
- Portfolio demonstrating UI, UX, and branding expertise
