gdm architects are a RIBA Chartered Practice with a strong focus on residential masterplanning and planning, supported by expertise in technical delivery and projects across a range of sectors.
Due to our continued workload of exciting projects, we are looking for an Architectural Assistant.
You will contribute to residential schemes ranging from 10 to 3,000 homes, helping to shape places from initial concepts through to planning submissions.
Applicants must be based within easy commuting distance of our Maidstone office.
The role
- Work as part of our planning team across a number of project types
- Assist in developing and deliver residential masterplanning schemes.
- Contribute to site layouts, masterplans and supporting drawings for projects of varying scales.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider consultant team to develop design proposals.
About you
- Previous experience working on masterplanning projects.
- A responsible approach and pride in the quality of your work.
- The ability to contribute positively as part of a team.
- Good presentation skills, with the ability to communicate design ideas clearly through drawings and graphics.
- An interest in creating attractive, well-considered residential places.
Technical skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop.
