GDi are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated QHSE Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for directing, managing, and monitoring all QHSE activities and QHSE performance within priorities and timelines.

Key Activities and Accountabilities:

  • Competent in the provision of QHSE support and direction to the workforce - Provision of advice to managers and staff on all aspects of QHSE company policy, contract, and legislative requirements.
  • Development and implementation of Company and contract QHSE objectives and targets in line with Company QHSE Strategy.
  • Leading Accident/Incident investigation to determine the Root Cause, identify key lessons and make recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Highly Skilled in Risk Management and Mitigation, including Hazard Identification Risk Assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Completing and managing Client QHSE pre-qualification questionnaires/tenders within timelines.
  • Management of Supplier pre-qualification and QHSE performance monitoring.
  • Conduct safety audits, safety tours, safety monitoring; meet staff and provide briefings during site visits.
  • Prepare reports and statistics for internal and external reporting.
  • Management and delivery of the Audit programme - Perform audits and inspections as applicable.
  • Drives and support Lessons Learned and Knowledge Management.
  • Management of ISO certification audits as well as other industry specific audits within timescales.
  • Completion of work within timescales.
  • Provide QHSE training as required.
  • Undertake HSE inductions for employees joining the Company.
  • Manages review and approval of Inspection and test plans (ITP’s).
  • Ensure that processes and procedures needed for ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO/IEC 17020 Management System are established, implemented, and maintained.
  • Report to Directors, the performance of the ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO/IEC 17020 Management System and any need for improvement.
  • Interface with QC Inspection Resources.

Essential Skills & Abilities:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of QHSE within the Oil and Gas Sector.
  • Demonstrate safety in the workplace as a priority and lead by example.
  • Proficient in the maintenance and development of QHSE systems to ensure continued compliance to ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, PED and ISO/IEC 17020.
  • Conversant and Knowledgeable on applicable legislation and advise on legislative changes and industry initiatives/best practice.

Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate essential.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • IOSH Membership preferred.
  • Familiar with requirements of ISO/IEC 17020:2012.
  • Internal auditor qualification for ISO9001 or ISO45001 essential.
