Full time, 12 Months fixed term for Data and Reporting Analyst to join the Workforce Reporting, Positions and Systems team. Deploy your skills in complex data analysis and support client information requirements. $126,065 Base Salary + 17% superannuation.

About the opportunity

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior HR Data Analyst to join our HR function. This role will primarily support the portfolio by undertaking quantitative and qualitative analysis of staff and affiliate data. In this role, you will be involved in developing and maintaining regular and accurate data regarding time to fill and legislative and policy compliance. Your keen interest in continuous improvement is essential in identifying trends, patterns and key insights to enable the HR leaders to identify and respond proactively to university needs.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • develop and manage the reporting required by the Human Resource teams to the various committees, executives, stakeholder groups and the University
  • provide reporting and analysis expertise to the team to guide data management, research and analysis work as it evolves in response to changing needs
  • source, interrogate and analyse data to prepare reports for governance and compliance reporting requirements.

About you

  • extensive experience as a reporting and data analyst in a data and research-intensive environment
  • extensive knowledge of reports development using PowerBI or similar tool is desirable
  • knowledge of Reporting tools like SQL or Workday is essential
  • proven experience manipulating data and undertaking appropriate analysis to provide insights
