As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and organised Accounts Assistant to join our supportive and collaborative team.
The Role: Working under the leadership of the Accountant, the Accounts Assistant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business and wider business services team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous accounts or finance administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking to further develop their career within a growing business.
- Supporting payroll administration and VAT preparation
- Carrying out bank reconciliations and maintaining financial records
- Managing finance inbox queries and supplier communications
- Supporting month-end finance processes
- Providing general finance and administrative support across the business
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounts, finance administration, purchase ledger, or accounts payable role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero or Sage (preferred but not essential)
- AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT (desirable)
- GCSE Grade C / Level 5 (or equivalent) in English and Maths
