GD Rectifiers is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join their team. GD Rectifiers has built a remarkable reputation over the past 60 years and is proud to work on some of Britain's biggest and most exciting rail, automotive, aviation, medical and industrial projects.
Accountabilities:
- Strong ability to program, set and operate a Cincinnati CNC milling machine with Heidenhain controls
- Support and help out with assembly work within the production team when required
- Responsible for the movement of stock using a forklift
- General warehouse/factory duties
- Report directly to the CNC Supervisor
Skills & Experience:
- Advanced level of experience in programming and operating Cincinnati CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls
- Excellent working knowledge of CNC milling machines and Heidenhain controls
- Ability to read engineering drawings and liaise with the sales team on jobs
- Compliant with all health and safety procedures
- Forklift license desired but not essential
- Willingness to work as a team and work on other factory areas when required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
- A positive, can do attitude and approach to your work
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a CNC milling machining role
- A minimum of 2 years of CNC milling programming with Heidenhain control machines
