We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Conveyancer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the legal aspects of property transactions, ensuring that all processes are completed efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
Responsibilities
- Proactively and efficiently manage transactions, whilst managing client expectations
- Manage own caseload, monitoring and delivering fully against personal targets
- Communication effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on the conveyancing process
- Responsible for files from completion, ensuring that all files are inline with Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and following regulatory and statutory requirements
- Proactively deal with the other side solicitors, mortgage lenders, brokers and clients
- Utilise IT tools to streamline workflows and maintain records efficiently
- Ensure all files are billed correctly with the appropriate fees
Requirements
- Must have minimum of 2 years of Conveyancing experience
- Ability to deal with a mixed caseload including freehold and leasehold sales, purchase, remortgages and transfer of equity
- Good IT skills with the ability to learn Proclaim
- Effectively manage and rotate your own case load
- Outstanding client care skills along with providing regular client updates
- Strong attention to detail, extremely accurate with the drafting of documents
- A positive, can-do attitude in a pressurised environment
- In a busy team it is imperative that you result orientated
- Ability to be flexible and empathetic to deliver client needs
