As a BT/Openreach Accredited Civils Gang, you will play a pivotal role in our operations, responsible for performing excavations, repairs, re-reinstatements, and installing ducting, chambers, and street cabinets within the public highway. Your primary focus will be ensuring all work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Duties:
- Prioritize Health & Safety while completing tasks on time and to specification.
- Complete daily paperwork including job sheets, risk assessments, plant sheets, and driver checks.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification.
- Manage company assets and plant assigned to you.
- Ensure compliance with client and council processes and procedures.
- Minimize wastage and perform ad-hoc duties as instructed by management.
- Ensure correct use of vehicles, plant, and materials.
Requirements:
- BT/Openreach Accreditations are desirable. Training can be arranged for experienced gangs.
- Valid Driving Licence for the UK.
- NRSWA Ticket.
- Mini-digger ticket.
- CSCS card.
- Experience in the utilities industry with excavation experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
