As a Grab Driver with us, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our utilities gangs working on new fibre broadband networks. Accommodation will be provided to candidates from outside the Inverness and Highlands area.
What We Expect of You:
- You will excel in transporting aggregates and materials, as well as supporting site staff with material couriering and collection.
- Your responsibilities will include the safe removal and disposal of spoil and waste materials while collaborating closely with planning, management, and on-site teams.
- Youβll demonstrate expertise in manoeuvring vehicles in tight utility sites and operating in strict compliance with sector procedures and regulations.
- You will ensure the reliability and safety of your vehicle by performing daily operational checks to maintain optimal performance.
- You will bring experience and qualifications as a Hiab Grab Driver, holding the appropriate license to operate a Hiab Grab Truck.
- Previous experience in a Utilities or Telecommunications environment is essential, along with knowledge of Chapter 8 requirements.
- While an NRSWA Operative ticket is desirable, your ability to operate effectively and safely in compliance with industry standards will be key to your success in this role.
