Job Description
Role: Power BI Developer\\n\\nLocation: London (1 day per week)\\n\\nDuration: 1 Month\\n\\nAvailability: Immediate joiner preferred.\\n\\nOver view of the role-\\n\\nBI Development & Reporting \\n\\nWe need BI professionals familiar with OLAP concepts, such as:\\n\\nDimensional modeling (facts, dimensions, hierarchies)\\nAnalytical KPIs and business logic\\nData modelling best practicesIntegration & Interoperability\\n\\n* Enable interoperability with third-party tools like Tableau and Amazon QuickSight \\n\\n* Manage secure integrations between Power BI and Azure-hosted data sources \\n\\nPlatform Support & Governance \\n\\n* Configure row-level security, user access roles, and workspace settings \\n\\n* Monitor performance across data models and reports; implement best practices for query optimisation \\n\\n* Contribute to the creation of documentation, data standards, and governance artefacts \\n\\nCollaboration & Continuous Improvement \\n\\n* Work closely with data engineers and analysts to define and evolve reporting architecture \\n\\n* Support continuous delivery of BI assets via automated pipelines and DevOps tooling \\n\\n* Drive improvements in data quality, usability, and user self-service \\n\\nGCS is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
