We are seeking an experienced Interim Head of Data & AI to join a major enterprise-scale organisation in the energy sector. This is a critical leadership role operating at C-Suite level , responsible for stabilising and advancing the company’s Data, AI, and Analytics strategy during a key leadership transition. You will lead the organisation’s data governance, compliance, AI adoption, and analytics function , working closely with senior leadership and Board stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and delivery of measurable business impact. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the enterprise-wide Data & AI strategy Oversee data governance, information assurance, compliance, and risk management Lead adoption of AI-powered insights and automation into business processes Engage with C-Level executives and Board members to align data initiatives with business goals Provide leadership and stability during a leadership transition phase Requirements: Proven experience as a Head of Data, Head of Data & AI, Chief Data Officer, or equivalent senior data leadership role Demonstrated ability to operate confidently at Board and C-Suite level Background in Energy, Utilities, FTSE 100-scale enterprise, or Big 4 consultancy environments Strong knowledge of Azure, Snowflake , and enterprise data governance frameworks Available to start within 2 weeks Location: Warwick, UK (Hybrid – minimum 2 days on-site per week) Contract Details: Duration: 3 to 6 months Work model: Hybrid (Warwick office, minimum 2 days/week) Start: ASAP41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
