NET Oracle Role Application support responsibilities for development teams in production environments to cover all aspects such as communication with Data Centre/Help Desk staff, analysing/finding failure to reach a root cause, resolving issues by liaising with development teams, liaising with internal and external supports teams and providing explanations to our Business Clients.
Tasks Troubleshooting Applications in the event of failure and implementing solutions (Code fix, SQL scripting etc), including checking Windows Servers, Databases (SQL Server or Oracle) and any other relevant environments where the Application is running.
In some cases, this will involve liaising with other application support team staff across London and New York.
Liaising with the relevant support teams (such as Technical Support, Network, Infrastructure, DBA) when users experience Application issues.
Communicating with primary support Helpdesk staff in London and New York to give the team necessary advice and suggestions.
