Python Developer - Agentic AI / GenAI - Investment Banking
London, Farringdon | Hybrid | Inside IR35 | Contract
We are looking for a highly experienced Python Developer / AI Engineer to join a consulting engagement delivering Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions within an Investment Banking environment.
This is a hands‑on development role requiring strong Python engineering alongside proven commercial experience building Agentic AI, LLM and RAG solutions.
Key Skills
- Strong commercial Python development
- Hands‑on Agentic AI / AI Agent development
- LLMs / Generative AI
- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
- OpenAI / GPT
- Anthropic Claude
- LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI or similar
- FastAPI / API development
- AI orchestration, tool calling and guardrails
- Strong Investment Banking / Capital Markets experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑facing skills
The Role
You will work within a consulting team designing and developing production‑grade AI solutions for an Investment Banking client.
The work will involve building Python‑based AI applications, agentic workflows, LLM integrations and RAG solutions within a highly regulated enterprise environment.

Previous Investment Banking experience is essential.
