We are looking for an experienced

Connectivity CPE Architect to lead the technical work stream for a next-generation Wi‑Fi gateway and home connectivity programme

  • Kings Road, UK | Hybrid - 2 days/week
  • Contract until June 2027
    Up to £830/day via Umbrella
    40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

  • Define CPE architecture, technical specifications and requirements.
  • Lead technical

RFI/RFP and supplier evaluation activities.

  • Assess CPE OEM and silicon vendor proposals.
  • Lead supplier workshops and technical Po Cs.
  • Develop technical scoring, compliance matrices and recommendations.
  • Work closely with Product, Procurement, Engineering and Technology leadership.

Essential Experience

  • Strong recent consumer/residential CPE experience.
  • Broadband gateways, home routers, mesh/Wi‑Fi devices.
  • Strong

Wi‑Fi 6/7 knowledge; Wi‑Fi 8 desirable.

  • Experience with
  • CPE OEMs / silicon vendors
  • RFI/RFP and supplier selection experience.
  • Knowledge of

RDK-B, Open WRT, DOCSIS, XGS-PON or similar technologies.

Important

Generic Network, Cloud or Infrastructure Architects without recent consumer CPE experience will not be suitable.
