This is a strategic, insight‑driven role partnering across three major engineering businesses - Civil, Defence, and Power Systems - to elevate workforce planning, strengthen talent acquisition performance, and drive data‑led decision‑making across a complex global matrix. You will work hand‑in‑hand with four regional TA Business Partners (US, Germany, EPAC, UK) and integrate into the People Services team to shape how engineering talent is planned, forecasted, and delivered globally. This is not an operational recruiter role. It is a strategic talent partner role focused on workforce planning, stakeholder influence, and organisational readiness.

What You'll Lead

  • Workforce Planning - Build and mature long‑term workforce planning capability across engineering functions.
  • Talent Acquisition Performance - Improve TA effectiveness through better forecasting, demand planning, and resource alignment.
  • Data Insights - Interpret talent, hiring, and market data to influence leadership decisions.
  • Stakeholder Partnering - Partner with People Partners, engineering leaders, and the RPO to shape talent solutions.
  • Global Collaboration - Work closely with regional TA BPs to ensure consistent, scalable delivery across markets.
  • Brand Visibility - Strengthen talent brand presence across engineering communities.
  • Resource Tracking - Monitor and report on resource utilisation, demand, and pipeline health.

What You Bring

  • Workforce / Manpower Planning Expertise - Ability to shape, forecast, and influence talent demand.
  • Engineering Market Understanding - Experience supporting engineering or technical functions.
  • Data‑Savvy Mindset - Comfortable interpreting insights and turning them into action.
  • Consultative Partnering - Strong influencing skills with senior leaders in complex environments.
  • Matrix Navigation - Experience working across multiple countries, functions, and reporting lines.
  • Strategic TA Background - Talent‑lean profile focused on strategy, not transactional recruitment.

Why This Role Matters

Engineering is at the heart of the organisation's future growth. This role ensures the business has the right skills, in the right places, at the right time - enabling delivery, innovation, and long‑term capability building. You will be the strategic connector between People Services, Engineering leadership, Regional TA teams, and the RPO, shaping how talent is planned and delivered globally.
