Salary: 40,000 – 50,000 (Depending on Experience) + Bonus + Car. No weekends.
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join a great company who are very successful in the plumbing, heating and renewables sectors. The title \’Sales Manager can be interpreted in different ways. This is an outright sales management role in the sense that you will not be doing the selling yourself but instead you will be monitoring every aspect of the sales teams, the branch managers and external sales representatives. Sales experience is essential to be able to impart knowledge but this role is more about motivating the sales teams, making sure that targets, margins and pricing are all being maintained in line with company policy. This external role covers many branches in the South Wales area. You will be working underneath the directors of the business so this is an important position.
Therefore, the requirements the right candidate must possess are great people skills, strong communication skills, wide ranging plumbing, heating and renewables knowledge as well as demonstrable sales skills. Really strong attention to detail and a methodical approach are also required. Some supervisory or management experience should also be present.
