Monday - Thursday 7am - 4.00pm, Friday 7am - 2.30pm
We are recruiting a Production Supervisor / Assistant Production Manager for a large production facility on the outskirts of Rugby. We are preferably looking for someone who has experience working in a similar production environment; however, training will be provided.
Timber Packaging: You will mainly be preparing and fabricating timber packaging - cassettes, timber cases, pallets etc., ready for dispatch to the customer base. As part of the management team, you will be responsible for:
- Production as well as goods in/out
- Procurement
- Supply chain
- Health & Safety
Work as part of a team of 15 and growing. You will be part of the Production Management team, reporting into a Senior Production Manager, overseeing a team of production operatives using a range of timber/wood saws.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrating safe use of machinery and hand tools
- Meeting production requirements in terms of quality, accuracy and safety
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Ensuring Health and Safety is adhered to at all times
- Involvement in procurement and supply chain logistics and goods in/goods out
