This is a great role for the right person and you will be dealing with current stockists of this company’s high quality building products, making it a very 'warm' role.
Ultimately, we are looking for a Brand Developer / Merchandiser to work for our client, a leading independent supplier of building materials who sell through builders merchants and other distribution channels.
Are you currently a Regional Merchandiser with a company selling construction supplies or building materials? Are you currently within a sales role within the building materials, construction supplies sector such as builders merchants, landscaping and other construction related sales roles? Then APPLY NOW!
The right candidate will be required to visit builders merchants and other stockists, contractors etc - 'selling the dream' visually and verbally. This merchandiser role needs an outgoing personality and a degree of credibility too! Any well-suited person with a customer service, sales background within the builders merchants or construction sales background will be considered.
This position isn’t targeted - whilst some sales skills are required - it is more of a promotional role providing product knowledge to both potential customers and the merchants already selling your product.
This position is a regional role and on occasions there could be nights away. Hotel accommodation will obviously be made available to you. You will of course be supplied with a company vehicle.
Whilst at sites you will check the displays are correctly stocked. Full training on the products will be given. You will also be required to keep up to date with new products that the company will be offering. Assuming you carry out this role well, this will then be recognised and will place you in a very good position for internal promotion.
