SUMMARY
Our client is a National Distributor within the construction supply / trade sector. They are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager at their Raleigh site to take full responsibility for the management of the warehouse according to company procedures and policies, and Health and Safety Requirements. Candidates for this warehouse manager position must have a minimum of 5 years Warehouse Management experience.
WAREHOUSE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Total management and responsibility of the warehouse and all colleagues
- Setting shift rotas for day and night teams
- Recruitment and selection when vacancies arise
- Inventory and stock control
- Full compliance with H&S
- Implementing/enforcing and documentation of company policies and procedures
- Setting and monitoring KPI's
- Assisting on warehouse floor when needed
- Communicating across departments e.g. Transport and Sales Office
- Maintain site to high standard
- Staff training
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Minimum 5 years proven experience in warehouse management. Understanding and experience of HR including disciplinary procedures.
