Role Overview

As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will support and oversee one of our branches for the region, ensuring performance is sustained at its current level and optimised for continuous growth. You will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance and the correct implementation of company policies and procedures. You will lead, motivate, and develop your team to achieve objectives.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a Builders' Merchant environment, either at local or national level.
  • Experience in managing a small/medium team, at varying disciplines and career levels.
  • Experience of the Builders Merchant trade, including but not limited to Timber and General building.
  • Experience in a civils background is advantageous, but non-essential.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working on special projects as required from time to time.
  • Providing out of hours support for the alarm and CCTV systems.
