We are over 550 professionals and currently looking for a Procurement Lead. The Procurement Lead is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement and contract lifecycle for connectivity and data centre services. This includes sourcing, supplier onboarding, contract negotiation, execution, and performance managemen
t.The role is hands-on and delivery-focused, with an emphasis on operational excellence, timely contract renewals, cost control, and supplier compliance. The Procurement Lead also supports category strategies and leads a small team in ensuring reliable and efficient procurement operations aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full contract lifecycle: from market engagement and negotiation through execution, supplier onboarding, and performance tracking.
- Ensure timely renewals, renegotiations, and proactive contract management to avoid service disruptions.
- Drive contract compliance, enforce service-level agreements (SLAs), and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Maintain a contract calendar, ensuring timely action on renewals, extensions, and savings opportunities.
Tactical & Operational Procurement Execution:
- Manage and oversee sourcing activities including RFx preparation, supplier evaluation, and award recommendations.
- Lead supplier onboarding processes and coordinate with internal stakeholders to enable timely service implementation.
- Ensure procurement transactions are compliant with internal policies and documented properly.
- Support and coordinate the operational workload of the procurement team, prioritizing business-critical tasks.
Cost Control & Savings Delivery
- Track, validate, and report on cost savings achieved through contract renegotiations and sourcing efforts.
- Identify opportunities to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) without compromising service quality or timelines.
Cross-functional Alignment & Process Improvement
- Work closely with legal, finance, operations, and technical teams to align procurement activities with business and regulatory requirements.
- Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance procurement cycle time, visibility, and efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of sourcing strategies for key service categories.
- Develop, implement and track Procurement KPIs.
- Provide day-to-day guidance to the procurement team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
Act as an escalation point for supplier or contractual issues impacting delivery timelines or budgets.
We Expect You to Have:
- 6+ years of procurement and contract management experience, ideally within telecom, data centre, or IT services.
- Strong track record of owning and executing the full procurement cycle—from sourcing through to supplier performance.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation, administration, and supplier performance management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operationally focused environement.
- Experience leading or mentoring small procurement teams.
- Skilled in using procurement systems and tools for contract tracking, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; English fluency required.
- Bachelor\’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field (advanced degree or certifications are considered a plus).
