Temporary Female Personal Care Assistant (PA)/Support Worker for Fiona. We are looking for a Female Personal Assistant to support Fiona, who is pleasant, easy to get along with, and happiest when she is feeling well and able to get out and enjoy her day. Fiona enjoys spending time with family and friends and visiting her local church. This role is about providing practical support and encouragement to help her plan her day and live life as independently as possible.
Responsibilities
- Assistance with personal care tasks, such as showering and drying hair
- Helping plan daily activities and routines
- Shopping, making lists, and attending appointments
- Light housework
- Meal preparation and assistance with hot drinks
- Providing support in and out of the home, including driving a Motability vehicle
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Positive, easy-going, patient, and kind
- Reliable and supportive
- Comfortable providing personal care
You must:
- Be over 25 (for Motability insurance purposes)
- Hold a full UK driving licence and be confident driving a Motability vehicle
- Be willing to work around animals, a friendly cat and large Labrador
Desirable
Fiona has epilepsy and neurological/mobility-related needs. Experience in this area is desirable, but full training will be provided.
Hours & Flexibility
Location: Hamilton
Hourly Rate: £12.60 per hour
Hours: Part-time – 12 hours per week (Temporary but could lead to permanent position)
Days: Monday to Friday
Please note days and times are flexible and will be agreed in advance but will also require a degree of flexibility to support appointments and meet Fiona’s needs.
