Personal Assistant Required to Support Michelle in Larkhall. Michelle is a warm, kind and caring individual who enjoys gardening, spending time with her daughter and helping others. She has a physical disability and uses an electric power chair; she’s looking for a Personal Assistant who can support her to live life to the fullest.
Responsibilities
- Supporting Michelle with washing/drying below knee level
- Washing and drying of hair
- Assisting with medication when required
- Preparing meals and healthy snacks
- Supporting participation in upper body exercise activities
- Escort to health and community appointments
- Household shopping and collecting prescriptions
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience is desirable but not essential — full training will be provided
- Warm, friendly nature and a genuine desire to support others
- Basic Autism awareness
- Driver essential — you’ll be required to drive Michelle’s automatic car
- Must be 25+, with 3+ years driving experience and a clean licence
Hours & Location
- Tuesday: 11.30am – 2pm
- Thursday: 11.30am – 2pm
- Saturday: 12pm – 3pm
Rate of Pay
£14.45 per hour
You will be employed directly by a Private Employer on a PAYE basis and will be entitled to all statutory rights as set out by Employment Law, such as paid holidays and statutory sick pay (where eligible).
