Female Personal Care Assistant/Support Worker required to assist a person with a Physical and Learning Disability living in the Larkhall area.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one care and assistance within the home and community, attending to personal care and participation in social activities.
  • Attend to all personal care needs, such as shaving.
  • Assist with medication.
  • Prepare meals and healthy snacks.
  • Assist participation in physical activities, including walking and gym sessions.
  • Perform household shopping and collect prescriptions.
  • Carry out other daily living tasks to promote independent living.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Driver's licence is essential; must be able to drive a mobility vehicle.
  • Warm, friendly nature and a desire to work in a caring role.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with personal care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.

Hours & Salary:

  • Guaranteed permanent position of 14 hours per week.
  • Schedule: Thursday and Friday 12:00pm – 7:00pm.
  • Hourly rate: £14.45.
