Hours: Monday–Thursday 2pm–6pm, Friday 12pm–6pm

About Me
I’m a young woman who is fun-loving, friendly and caring. I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, watching crime programmes, and getting out and about in my community. I love dancing, singing, swimming, going out for lunch or coffee, cinema trips, going for walks and being pampered (hair and nails!).
About the Role
I have a learning disability and I am looking for a kind, gentle and patient Personal Assistant/Support Worker to support me in my daily activities and help me stay safe while accessing the community. A typical day supporting me might include picking me up from my work placement and taking me to swimming, the gym or fitness classes and sometimes the cinema.
What I Need From You
- Kind, gentle, considerate and understanding
- Friendly, patient and supportive
- Happy to get involved in fun, social activities
- Able to encourage independence in the community whilst keeping me safe
- Happy to provide practical support, including help with showering and dressing after swimming
Essential Requirements
- Female (due to personal care needs)
- Reliable, warm and respectful
- Driver with access to a car (mileage costs will be met by employer)
- Confident supporting me in swimming pool environments
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities is preferred but not essential — training will be provided.
Hours: Monday – Thursday: 2pm–6pm, Friday: 12pm–6pm
Rate of pay: £14.45 per hour
