Female Personal Care Assistant / Support Worker required to assist a 12‑year‑old girl with Autism and Learning Disabilities living in the Cambuslang area.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one‑to‑one care and assistance within the home and in the community, including participation in social activities.
- Assist with tasks such as walking, playing in the park, cycling, swimming, music, sensory experiences and socialising.
- Drive using own vehicle (driver essential); mileage allowance will be paid.
- Use a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage the individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in personal care or support work essential.
- Warm and friendly nature with a desire to work within a caring role.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work closely with a vulnerable individual in the community.
Working Hours & Pay:
- Guaranteed permanent position of 3 hours per week, typically Thursday 5pm – 8pm.
- Occasional weekends and evenings may be required – to be discussed at interview.
