Female Personal Care Assistant / Support Worker required to assist a 12‑year‑old girl with Autism and Learning Disabilities living in the Cambuslang area.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one‑to‑one care and assistance within the home and in the community, including participation in social activities.
  • Assist with tasks such as walking, playing in the park, cycling, swimming, music, sensory experiences and socialising.
  • Drive using own vehicle (driver essential); mileage allowance will be paid.
  • Use a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage the individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in personal care or support work essential.
  • Warm and friendly nature with a desire to work within a caring role.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work closely with a vulnerable individual in the community.

Working Hours & Pay:

  • Guaranteed permanent position of 3 hours per week, typically Thursday 5pm – 8pm.
  • Occasional weekends and evenings may be required – to be discussed at interview.
  • Hourly rate: £14.45.
