Female Personal Care Assistant required to assist a young female with a Neurological and Learning Disability living in the Airdrie area. You would be required to provide one to one care and assistance in the community including attending to personal care and participation in social activities.
Responsibilities
- Attending to all personal care needs (showering, toileting including bowel movements)
- Walking, swimming and trampolining, assisting with participation in these physical activities
- Any other daily living tasks to promote independent living
Qualifications and Qualities
- Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.
- The most important qualities are a warm and friendly nature and a desire to work within a caring role.
- Pets in the household – you must be comfortable working with a dog/cat/bird etc. in the home.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Driver with a Full UK Driving Licence is essential and you will be required to use your own vehicle.
- Relevant care experience is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.

- Guaranteed permanent position of 6 hours per week
- Days and Times: Set shifts on Saturday or Sunday, times to be discussed at interview.
- Hourly rate: £12.60 per hour
