Hello! I am Kathleen, and I am a fun loving, easy going young woman who enjoys music, socialising, shopping, and spending time with my family. A typical day would see me out and about enjoying life’s simple pleasures and my outdoor community. I love visiting the beach on a sunny day, going to local nature parks and lochs. I live at home, which is a busy but friendly place to be. I live with my family and my pet dog who I love, so I would ask for you to be comfortable around dogs, and a bonus if you share a love for them too!
This is a part time permanent position of 24 hours per week and is generally based in the Motherwell area, with travel in and around the local area required. There may be Ad-Hoc duties to accompany on Holidays. Your role is to provide person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity, safety, and wellbeing.
Responsibilities- Personal care support (all aspects including continence care, bathing, and dressing)
- Assistance with nasogastric (NG) tube feeding (training provided)
- Assistance with Medication (training provided)
- Respiratory support (training provided)
- Epilepsy management (training provided)
- Wheelchair assistance
You will be employed directly by a Private Employer on a PAYE basis and will be entitled to all statutory rights as set out by Employment Law such as paid holidays and statutory sick pay (where eligible).
