We are seeking a compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated Support Worker to join our team caring for Steven, a wonderful 6-year-old boy with autism, intellectual disability, and Pica. Based in Cumbernauld, Scotland, this role requires a kind-hearted individual who is registered with the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) scheme.
About the Role
- Support Steven by providing daily care and tailored support that meets his individual needs, ensuring his safety and well-being at all times.
- Safety First: Ability to wear a harness as part of safety protocols to support Steven during outings or activities.
- Fit and Flexible: Must be physically fit to engage in activities and ensure Steven’s safety.
- Compassionate Care: Demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding in all interactions, promoting a nurturing environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with family members, therapists, and other professionals to deliver holistic support.
