Overview

Personal Assistant needed to support a young adult female with learning disability and complex needs with domestic, personal and social assistance. The role aims to enable wellbeing, independence, and participation in activities of daily living, including light household duties.

Responsibilities

  • Support with domestic, personal and social activities as part of daily living.
  • Help maintain physical and mental wellbeing and promote independence.
  • Assist with light household duties as required.
  • Be a good communicator, emotionally reliable, punctual and a good timekeeper.

Qualifications and Preferences

  • Previous experience of support in a care setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Driving license preferred but not essential.
  • PVG Scheme membership or Scheme Update will be required.

Role Details

  • Hours: 12 hours per week
  • Schedule: Tuesday & Friday, 10:00–16:00 (flexible, 6–12 hours across 1 or 2 days per week; can be discussed at interview)
  • Potential to cover for other members of the support team
  • Note: Household has pets

Remuneration

Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour
