Key Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological assessment, formulation and intervention under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist.
  • Conduct audits, collect statistics, produce reports, and manage administrative tasks related to clinical work.
  • Engage in research projects, assist with publication preparation, and support staff training initiatives.
  • Work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, developing care plans and delivering low‑intensity psychological interventions.
  • Assist in managing risk and problem behaviours, plan and coordinate therapeutic groups, and attend multi‑disciplinary meetings.
  • Participate in service evaluation, research, and development of training and education sessions.

Qualifications

  • Psychology degree with a minimum 2:1 honours, recognised by the British Psychological Society.
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with individuals who have mental health challenges and/or learning disabilities, and/or physical health issues or cognitive impairments.
