Our client is seeking an exceptional Senior Lettings Area Manager to oversee the performance and growth of multiple lettings offices across Essex and Kent. This is a strategic, high-impact role suited for a proven lettings leader with strong commercial acumen, a passion for people development, and a track record of business expansion.
The successful Senior Lettings Area Manager will be offered:
- Up to £50,000 basic
- On-target earnings up to £85,000, including uncapped commission
- Choice of company car or car allowance
- 33 days of paid holiday, plus a day off for your birthday

As a Senior Lettings Area Manager, your duties will be:
- Lead, mentor, and support Lettings Managers to consistently meet and exceed performance targets across the region.
- Cultivate a positive and high-achieving branch culture through effective coaching and professional development.
- Drive growth in both market share and the managed property portfolio by implementing strategic initiatives and forward-thinking processes.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and industry regulations across all offices.
- Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities, including portfolio acquisitions and office network expansion.
- Actively engage in field operations where needed, supporting with market appraisals, covering absence, and setting a strong example for teams.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, setting clear expectations and providing feedback to enable continued improvement.
To be considered for the Senior Lettings Area Manager role, you must have:
- Proven track record in multi-site lettings management, ideally with 2+ years\’ experience at regional or area level.
- Skilled in leading successful teams and growing lettings businesses across multiple locations.
- Commercially savvy with experience identifying acquisition opportunities and driving portfolio expansion.
- Energetic, adaptable, and passionate about developing people and driving innovation.
- Strong local knowledge of Kent and Essex property markets.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and is centrally based within the operational area.
- ARLA qualification is desirable but not essential.
