Job Description:
We have an exciting and rare new opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor to join an award-winning consultancy firm in West Yorkshire as an Associate / Senior Building Surveyor. Our clients are expanding rapidly and have secured numerous new projects.
This position offers career growth and a varied working role, including public and commercial sector work. There is also potential for progression to senior roles.
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday
The successful Associate / Senior Building Surveyor will be offered:
- £50,000 – £70,000 basic salary, depending on experience
- Pension
- Onsite parking

- Experience as a practising Building Surveyor
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Able to work well as part of a team

As an Associate / Senior Building Surveyor, your role will involve:
- Advising clients about building/property issues, including technical, commercial, statutory, environmental/sustainability, building regulation, and restoration matters.
- Monitoring deterioration or defects of properties and advising on repairs.
- Assessing the impact of damage on insurance claims, e.g., after fire or flood.
- Writing technical reports.
- Negotiating repairs or financial settlements as needed.
- Advising on quality and construction aspects of new and existing buildings.
- Undertaking measured surveys and dilapidations.
