We are currently looking for a Trainee Paraplanner to join our clients, a highly successful Independent Financial Practice with a team of advisers who have a wealth of experience. This is a unique opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals, gain hands-on experience and embark on a journey towards becoming a proficient paraplanner. The successful candidate must have experience working as a Financial Administrator or Paraplanner within a Financial Advisors.

Working Hours: Full Time Hybrid-working basis (Monday to Thursday in the office & Friday WFH)

The successful Trainee Paraplanner will be offered:

  • Basic Salary up to £36,000
  • 25 days plus bank holidays
  • Free Parking

To be considered for the role of Trainee Paraplanner, you must have:

  • Previous administrative experience working within a Financial Advisors, either within Financial Administrator or Paraplanner role.
  • Organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and be proactive.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Strong IT skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Trainee Paraplanner responsibilities:

  • Preparing analysis of the client’s existing portfolio.
  • Provision of technical support to Advisers.
  • Working closely with the Adviser to research and formulate appropriate advice.
  • Preparation of Recommendation Reports and supplementary documentation.
  • Adherence to compliance procedures, core values and high standards of client service.
  • Regular liaison with product providers, account managers and clients.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of financial products and markets to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs.
