Experienced in mortgage administration and looking to take the next step towards becoming a Mortgage Advisor?
We're recruiting for a Mortgage Administrator to join an established and reputable independent mortgage brokerage in Leatherhead.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mortgage administrator with CeMAP qualifications who is keen to develop their career within financial services. With a clear progression route to becoming a Mortgage Advisor within 6–12 months, this role offers the chance to build on your existing experience, expand your knowledge and progress into an advisory position.
The Role
- Liaise with mortgage lenders and solicitors to manage applications through to completion
- Handle incoming calls and email enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Keep clients updated on the progress of their mortgage applications
- Provide administrative support throughout the mortgage application process
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure documentation is processed efficiently
- Manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Build strong relationships with clients, lenders and other key stakeholders
- Develop your mortgage knowledge and skills in preparation for progressing into a Mortgage Advisor role
Mortgage Administrator Requirements:
- Previous experience in a mortgage administration role is essential
- CeMAP qualifications are essential
- Genuine interest in mortgages and financial services
- Clear ambition to progress into a Mortgage Advisor position within 6–12 months
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively to deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of the mortgage and property market would be advantageous
