Are you an experienced property professional with excellent attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude?
We're recruiting for a Property Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded estate agency in Catford, working as part of a friendly, enthusiastic and supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous estate agency experience who is passionate about property management, enjoys working with landlords and tenants, and is looking to develop their career within a professional and rewarding environment.
The Role
As a Property Manager, you will
- Manage day-to-day maintenance and repair requests
- Order, coordinate and monitor repair works
- Liaise with contractors and manage contractor payments
- Ensure all property certification is fully up to date, including gas, electrical and EPC requirements
- Schedule, order and process mid-term inspections
- Keep the CRM system accurate and up to date
- Monitor rent payments, process rent and proactively chase arrears
- Provide excellent support to landlords and tenants
- Handle incoming calls and enquiries as part of the wider team
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high level of service
- Build positive and professional relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors
Property Manager requirements
- Previous experience within an estate agency
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to negotiate effectively
- A proactive, friendly and professional approach when dealing with all types of people
- Positive, enthusiastic and can-do attitude
- Good understanding of the Renters' Reform Act and other key property legislation
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service
