We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Land Manager to join a well-established independent estate agency’s Land & New Homes team in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, securing, and managing land opportunities for residential development across Hertfordshire & surrounding counties, ensuring profitable outcomes while contributing to the growth of the business.
As a Land Manager, you will be offered:
- Up to £35,000 basic
- Realistic OTE between £60,000-£70,000
- No weekend work
- Full support from the Land Director
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Identify and secure new residential development sites.
- Generate business opportunities for the Land & New Homes department.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, vendors, and clients.
- Negotiate sales and agreements effectively.
- Collaborate with the wider agency team to drive business growth.
- Lead and develop the new homes department.
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Report directly to the Land Director on sales and performance figures.
To be considered for the Land Manager role, you must have:
- Experience in land acquisition and new homes, with a proven track record.
- Knowledge of the Hertfordshire area.
- Understanding of planning law, development costs, and the residential property market.
