We're recruiting for a New Homes Business Development Manager to join a successful team in Chatham, driving new business opportunities, building strong relationships with housebuilders and developers, and supporting the performance of new homes sales teams.

This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced New Homes Sales professional with a proven track record of winning instructions, managing teams and delivering against commercial targets.

The Role

As a New Homes Business Development Manager, you will

  • Generate new business and present to housebuilder clients to secure new homes instructions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with housebuilders, developers and residential offices
  • Identify and develop new opportunities across varying-size developments
  • Manage, motivate and incentivise site sales consultants to achieve targets
  • Coach and support teams to maximise sales performance
  • Generate opportunities for additional services including mortgages, conveyancing, lettings and property valuations
  • Work closely with the area New Homes support team to ensure marketing and sales administration is managed effectively
  • Problem-solve and influence outcomes to achieve the best commercial results
  • Work towards agreed business development and sales targets
  • Collaborate closely with the land team to identify and develop opportunities

New Homes Business Development Manager requirements

  • Proven track record of winning new homes sales instructions across developments of varying sizes
  • Strong New Homes Sales experience, ideally combined with residential Estate Agency experience
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver against commercial targets
  • Experience managing, coaching and motivating teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Professional, organised and commercially driven
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a results-focused approach
  • Full UK driving licence
